New Zealand dressage judge Linda Warren-Davey has received a Prime Minister's officials' scholarship from High Performance Sport New Zealand to increase her expertise as a judge at the top level of high performance dressage sport.

The Prime Minister’s Officials’ Scholarship programme develops the skills of New Zealand officials working at pinnacle events. The purpose of the scholarship is to invest in education opportunities to enable world leading performance from New Zealand’s top athletic talent, by prioritising resources for increasing expertise that will directly impact athlete performance and enable the sustainability of our officials’ talent pool.

The Ohoka based Linda Warren-Davey is a real estate agent by profession and is the New Zealand Sales and Marketing Manager for one of the largest equestrian wholesale companies in Australasia.

"It is a huge honour and I am thrilled and very grateful to have received a Prime Minister's Officials scholarship," said Warren-Davey. "(I) would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Sarah Dalziell High Performance Director at ESNZ for her assistance and of course my local supporters. My aim is to extend and expand my knowledge and skills at high performance level, and to this end I am very fortunate to be involved in a learning capacity at three CDI's in Germany and France throughout May."

Two more New Zealand officials received the Prime Ministers Officials Scholarship this year. They are eventing officials Margs Carline and Stuart Bishell. A special evening for the PM Scholarship awards was held at the Don Rowland Centre on Lake Karapiro in Cambridge, New Zealand.
