The 5-year old Santo Dottore and the 6-year old Avangarde de Lus claimed the trophies in the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the regional show in Böblinge, Germany on Sunday 8 May 2016. Only fourteen horses in total competed in the two L and M-level dressage horse classes.
Katrin Burger and the Oldenburg bred Santo Dottore (by Sir Donnerhall x Rubinstein) dominated the 5-year old division and claimed top honour with a winning score of 8.2. Two horses tied in second place with 8.1.: Nicole Casper's licensed stallion Topas (by Totilas x Sandro Hit) and Christina Boos' Blickfang HC (by Belissimo M x Brentano II).
In the 6-year old division Christiane Schröder landed first spot on the Oldenburg bred Avangarde de Lus (by Ampere x Rubin Royal). The dup, which also competes in Switzerland, scored 7.6 for first place. Katharina Haufele and Edelstain (by Edward x Fürst Heinrich) were second with 7.40.
