2016 Bundeschampionate
The Westfalian breed society announced the horses that will represent the Westfalian breed at the 2016 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany, on 7 - 11 September 2016.
The Westfalian selection was made based on the horses' results achieved at the 2016 Westfalian Young Horse Championships in Munster-Handorf on 29 - 31 July 2016.
The nominated horses are:
3-year olds - Mares and Geldings

3-year olds - Stallions
- Rosendiamant (by Rohjuel x Don Bedo)

4-year olds - Mares and Geldings
- Bondermann (by Belarus x Alabaster)
- Deflorata S (by Don Juan de Hus x Don Bedo)
