Nadine Capellmann has sold her number one Grand Prix horse Dark Dynamic to the Dusseldorf based German Under 25 rider Sarah Runge.
The 13-year old Hanoverian gelding Dark Dynamic (by Don Vino x Hohenstein x Freiherr) is bred by Georg Kok and was discovered as a 2-year old by Meppen based Christoph Dust. The pair competed from young horse classes up to Developing PSG horse level.
In 2012 Capellmann spotted the black gelding in Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifier in Lingen and acquired the horse as her future Grand Prix horse and second iron in the fire alongside Girasol.
Capellmann and Dark Dynamic made their show debut at the regional event in Gelsenkirchen in September 2012 at small tour level. In January 2013 they moved to Grand Prix level and in September 2013 they made their international show debut at the CDI Paris, where they placed fifth in the Grand Prix (69.234%). Since then Nadine has competing the black at the CDI's in Hagen, Munich, Cappeln, Oldenburg, Hamburg, Maastricht and Lier, though this year she mainly focused on national shows. Their last CDI and show together was in September 2016 at the CDI Donaueschingen, where they were 14th in the Grand Prix with 66.280%.
Capellmann has now sold Dark Dynamic to Sarah Runge, who is based at Gut Mankarthhof in Meerbusch, Germany and who trains with Claudia Haller. In 2016 Runge has been showing Emma Kanerva's former ride Furst Kaspar (by Furst Piccolo x Attraktiv) on the German Under 25 circuit.
The 2002 World Champion Capellmann is now only actively competing one more horse, the 8-year old Ukrainian bred Forpost (by Obrazets) at small tour level.
