Former World Champion Nadine Capellmann has bought a new Grand Prix horse after selling her entire GP stock most recently. She acquired the 8-year old Oldenburg stallion Look at Me as her new trailblazer.
Bred by Andrea and Georg Beyer, Look at Me is by Licotus out of Davina (by Liberty M x Rouletto x Drachenfels). He was owned by Hans Reisinger for the past three years.
Under Rudolf Widmann the stallion was only competed twice at M-level in July 2015 but the horse was trained up the Grand Prix level with talent for piaffe and passage.
Capellmann, who sold Girasol to Morgan Barbancon in 2015 and Dark Dynamic to Sarah Runge just a few months ago, will now be able to continue her show career with Look at Me.
Reisinger also sold the 11-year old Dutch warmblood Briar Junior a few weeks ago to the Austrian Juliane Jerich, the daughter-in-law of transport mogul Herbert Jerich. Juliane Jerich is trained by Günther Zach and has been riding schoolmaster Wunschtraum. With Briar Junior she has a new iron in the fire.
Bred by Anton Geessink in The Netherlands, Briar Junior is by Briar out of Oratira (by Julio Mariner xx x Ramiro x Natron). He was licensed as a breeding stallion by the Oldenburg society as a 3-year old in 2008 and did his 30-day stallion performance test in Zweibrucken in November 2010. He scored 8.41 points for dressage and 6.67 for show jumping (total 7.63 pts). He was briefly ridden by Patrik Kittel as a young horse.
Owned by Hans Reisinger for the past 6 years, Briar Junior was trained and competed by Rudolf Widmann. The horse made its German show debut in 2012 at M-level and moved to Grand Prix in 2014. They never competed internationally.
