Jessica von Bredow-Werndl's international small tour horse Dante's Peak has been submitted to the FRH programme of the Hanoverian society and will be competed as of now with the name Dante's Peak FRH.
FRH stands for the Promotion of Equestrian Sport on Hanoverian Horses. The FRH society was founded in 1985 and aims to spot talented young horses and riders, bring them together and support their career to the top. Twenty four Hanoverian horses have been bestowed with the FRH sponsorship; the dressage amongst them are: Benetton Dream (Tinne Vilhelmson), Burlington (Charlott Maria Schurmann), D'Agostino (Fabienne Lutkemeier), Dablino (Anabel Balkenhol), Damsey (Helen Langehanenberg), Del Magico (Stephanie Dearing), Desperados (Kristine Sprehe), Don Johnson (Isabel Werth), Rassolini (Jan Ebeling), Showtime (Dorothee Schneider) and Wonder (Kathleen Keller).
The 12-year old Dante's Peak is by Dimaggio x Wolkentanz and is bred by Heinrich Ötting in Warmsen, Germany. He became the 2009 Hanoverian Autumn Elite Auction price highlight in Verden, selling to the Werndl dressage stable in Aubenhausen, Germany, for 320,000 euro.
As a youngster the very tall liver chestnut got injured, but he recovered fully and in 2016 made his international break through at small tour level. He has made his CDI debut in Mechelen in December 2015 and showed at the 2016 CDI's in Neumunster, Hagen and Munich, winning four classes out of six he was entered in.
"He got everything he needs to be a dressage horse at birth," Werndl explained. "Danty is a movement genius and he makes a very special appearance in the ring with his fun character. Our entire family loves him."
