Former double European pony champion Phoebe Peters has received the ride on Lara Edwards-Dyson's Dutch warmblood stallion Cadans M. The British junior rider will begin competing the dark bay stallion in 2017.

Aboard SL Lucci, Phoebe Peters was the 2013 and 2015 European Pony Champion. She is also the world record holder in all three FEI pony level tests.

In 2016 she competed Debbie Stibbe’s now 18-year old Denford Surprise (by Concord) on the British team at the 2016 European Junior Riders Championships in Oliva Nova, Spain. The pair finished 9th in the individual Kur to Music finals.

With the retirement of Denford Surprise, Peters went in search of a new ride and found one in the 10-year old licensed KWPN stallion Cadans M (by Sir Donnerhall x Pion x Elcaro). The stallion sold to Lara Edwards (née Dyson) through Peter Tomlinson back in 2012. He was previously owned by Joop van Uytert and the breeder Van Mook who sold the stallion due to a lack of interest in him on the breeding market.

Peters began riding Cadans M in November 2016.

"It's very exciting, he's like a little Ferrari," Peters told Eurodressage. "Danny has three incredible paces, is so talented and I am already having so much fun riding him.  We are going to spend the winter training and getting to know each other and I am so excited about being able to continue my journey through the levels with him."
