Danish born and Luxembourg based Kristine Brinch Moller has qualified the 7-year old Trakehner mare Standing O'Vation for the 2017 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 3 - 6 August 2017.
Standing O'Vation is by Imperio x Consul, bred by Sabine Oberdieck and owned by Moller's long-time sponsor Jens Thorsen of Gestut Pallerhaff in Luxembourg. Thorsen acquired the bay mare as a 3-year old at the 2013 Trakehner Elite Sport Horse and Foal Auction in Neumunster for 100,000 euro.
At the 2017 CDIO Compiegne in France last weekend, Moller achieved her qualification scores for Ermelo. In the 7-year old division she scored 72.08% in the preliminary test and 74.6% in the Finals test.
"Standing O'Vation was already winning two S-(classes) this year and following the recent results in Compiegne, she is in line for nomination at the beginning of July," Moller told Eurodressage, adding that of course she loves to go to Ermelo and is crossing fingers that all stays well. "Only time can tell, whether I will take her or not. A lot can happen with horses."
