The 5-year old Deluxe K and the 6-year old Elfenkönig were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show at the Julibellenhof equestrian centre in Prietzen on 1 July 2017. Nine 5-year olds and five 6-year olds travelled to Prietzen for this qualifier.
In the 5-year old division Sandra Frieling and Herbert Kruse's Hanoverian mare Deluxe K (by Dantander Hit x Silvio I) scored the highest mark in the L-level dressage horse test, 8.1. Pia-Katharina Voigtländer and Sarah Scherwitzki's Oldenburg stallion Renegade S (by Rock Forever x Stalypso) were the runners-up with 8.0, while Stephanie Fiedler and the Branderburger state stud owned stallion Quanta Costa (by Quaterback x Insterburg) landed third place with 7.8.
In the 6-year old division Alexandra Bimschas took home the trophy after scoring a winning 8.4 on Elfenkönig, Carsten Johanns' Hanoverian gelding by Edward x Amerigo Vespucci xx. Christian Flamm and Britta Budeus-Wiegert's Oldenburg mare Patrizia (by San Amour x Donnerschwee) were second with 8.0, while Antonia von Dungern slotted in third on Frank-Jurgen Klakow's DSP mare Queen Rubin (by Quadroneur x Rubin Royal) with 7.5.
