The dressage bred Bretton Leaf KWG was approved for breeding at the 2017 Swiss Warmblood Stallion Licensing held in Avenches during the National Young Horse Championships on 22 - 24 September 2017.
Seven stallions in total were approved out of a lot of 13 at the 2017 Swiss licensing but only one was dressage bred.
Bretton Leaf KWG is bred and owned by Walter Kunz. The 5-year old is by Bretton Woods x Abanos x Rubinstein x Furioso II.
The licensing committee described him as a "beautiful, modern liver chestnut" and praised the stallion for finishing 5th in the 2017 Swiss Warmblood Young Horse Championships under Heinz Croonenbroek.
