The 10-year old KWPN licensed stallion Cupido has moved barns again and is now in training with Dutch Under 25 rider Carlijn Huberts.
Cupido is by Daddy Cool out of Promise (by Jazz x Ulft) and is owned by the Stiphout family.
After he was approved at the KWPN stallion licensing in Den Bosch, he scored 82 points in his performance test. In October 2011 Cupido was sent into training with Hans Peter Minderhoud, but he gave up the ride in 2012 because Olympic preparationts kept him busy. The stallion went to Jose van Haaren, who won the 2013-2014 KWPN Stallion Competition at Z-level with him. In December 2014 Diederik van Silfhout took over the ride and competed the stallion at small tour level.
Huberts will now continue Cupido's sport career, after she re-connected with the Stiphout family. Huberts had ridden their horse Romeo at young riders' level before.
The new combination has made its small tour debut at the regional show in De Mortel, where the pair scored 68.68% in the Prix St Georges.
