Swedish Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven has made her show come back on her third Grand Prix horse, Benetton Dream, after one year off from competition.

The 14-year old Hanoverian licensed stallion did his last show exactly one year ago at the 2017 CDI Wellington at the end of February.

Benetton Dream's 2017 run in Florida in CDI's was not without issues. He was eliminated from his first Grand Prix because of a nose bleed. He then finished 14th in his second Grand Prix test (67.140%) but was withdrawn from the Grand Prix Special on 25 February 2017.

Bred by Axel Windeler in Germany, Benetton Dream (by Brentano x Rotspon) injured himself and required a year to get back to full fitness and show condition.

Vilhelmson premiered her stallion in a national Grand Prix class in Wellington on Saturday 24 February and won the test with 72.935%, ahead of Ashley Holzer on the former PSI horse Sir Caramello (by Sir Donnerhall x Feiner Stern) with 71.957% and on Radondo (by Romanov x Don Schufro) with 68.152%.

"Winner, winner chicken dinner," owner Lovsta Stuteri quipped.
