French A-squad listed Grand Prix rider Nicole Favereau has extended her collaboration with Elevage d'Hulm and received a second horse to ride from them.

Elevage d'Hulm is based in Carne, France, close to the Pyrenees and in fact focuses on eventing horses. The stud is run by Mathieu Boisselier.

Writing from Facebook, Elevage d'Hulm announced their sponsorship and expanded collaboration with Favereau by buying a second horse for her: the 8-year old Rhinelander gelding Rubens (by Rifaisos x Livingstone), who was previously competed at M-level by Marine Subileau.

"We have decided to help Niciole Favereau and bought her a second Grand Prix horse to secure her future as an athlete," said Boisselier. "After long searches and several unsuccessful try-outs we decided to buy the magnificent 8-year old Rubens."

Favereau is very familiar with Rubens as he has been in her barn since he was a 4-year old. He descends from the same dam as Nicole's current international Grand Prix horse Ginsegue (by Welt Hit II).

Favereau already rides the 6-year old Rhinelander mare Really Mine (by Rifaisos x Balzflug) for Elevage d'Hulm

"We hope for the best for this new combination, even though it's Marine Subileau who has been in charge of competing Rubens stringing victories together. Soon they will go to small tour. A nice adventure begins."
