The bay colt Fly Amour GE (by Floriscount x San Amour) became the price highlight of the 2018 German Sport Horse (DSP) Elite Foal Auction held in Nördlingen, Germany, on 21 July.
Bred by Steffen Jahn of Gestut Elstertal, Fly Amour GE sold for a whopping 80,000 euro to Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark!
The second most expensive foal was colt Vitus (by Vitalis x Sandro Hit), who moves barns for 37,000 euro.
Bonderas (by Bonds x Don Schufro). This colt, bred by Friedel and Rettemeier, sold for 22,000 euro to Austria.
The colt Franco (by Fair Game x Sir Donnerhall I) fetched a price of 15,500 euro and moves to the U.S.A. Fernando (by Fair Game x Acordelli) sold for 14,000 euro.
For Diamond Hit II DB (by For Romance x Diamond Hit) switched owners for 15,000 euro. The same price was paid for filly Super Girl of Glory (by Secret x Quaterback), but she moves to Luxembourg.
Breeder Steffen Jahn cashed serious money in Nordlingen. Aside from Fly Amour GE, his filly Filly Priscilla GE (by Furstenball x Sandro Hit) sold for 14,500 euro and Pearlette GE (by Secret x Grey Flanell) sold for 17,500 euro.
Finess (by Santo Domingo x Lord Georg) sold for 14,000 euro.
The average price for a foal was 9,976 euro. Nine foals sold abroad with Austrians buying five of them.
