Japanese Team for 2018 World Equestrian Games Selected

The Japan Equestrian Federation has selected the team that will represent Japan at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, U.S.A. on 12 - 15 September 2018. 

Japan will be sending a full team of four to the U.S.A.

Christoph Koschel is the team trainer, supported by Team Kasselmann, and Terui Shinichi serves as chef d'equipe.

The Japanese team includes:

  • Masanao Takahashi  - Rubicon, a 15-year old Rhinelander gelding by Rubin Royal x Larome
  • Kazuki Sado - Barolo, a 12-year old Hanoverian gelding by Breitling x Hitchcock
  • Shingo Hayashi - Clearwater, a  20-year old Danish warmblood gelding by Capraccio x Limebrand
  • Kiichi Harada - Egistar, a 15-year old Dutch warmblood gelding by Cabochon x Kaiserstern xx
