The 2.5 year old licensed Hanoverian stallion which Andreas Helgstrand and Paul Schockemöhle purchased at auction for 2 million euro has been given a name. The chestnut colt is now called Vivino.
The colt was one of 12 premium dressage stallions at the 2018 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing. After a tough bidding duel with Norwegian Kirstin Andresen, Vivino (by Vivaldi x Dancier) sold to Helgstrand and Schockemöhle for 2.010.000 euro at auction on Saturday 27 October 2018.
The already 1.73 m standing liver chestnut is bred by Ulrike Buurman and was owned by Rosi and Ernst Kemper.
Vivino arrived in Denmark shortly after the licensing.
Helgstrand and Schockemöhle also own the 2018 Oldenburg Licensing Champion, which after two previous name announcements (Grand Canyon, Gigabyte) has now been officially named Global Player. The duo co-owns the Grand Galaxy x Don Schufro son with breeder Henrik Hansen.
