The 13-year old Hanoverian gelding JJ Rayban has been sold as an FEI level schoolmaster to American dressage rider Tina Gilchrist from Texas.
JJ Rayban (by Rascalino x Londonderry) is bred by Klaus Jurgens in Germany and was discovered as a youngster by the Norwegian JJ Horses.
The chestnut became champion of the 2009 Swedish Warmblood licensing and won the stallion performance testing in 2010. He sold to Patrik Hannell in the autumn of 2010.
Under Jan Brink Rayban went on to win the Swedish Young Horse Championship in Flyinge for 5-year-olds in 2011 and for 6-year-olds in 2012.
In June 2013 Rayban underwent emergency surgery for a colic attack due to inguinal hernia and was castrated.
At the beginning of 2015 Swedish Under 25 Marina Mattsson received the ride on Rayban. She only lightly competed him at small tour level in 2016 and 2017.
