The 3-year old KWPN stallion Landmark Texel has been sold to Dressage Mala Skala in the Czech Republic.
Landmark Texel is by Toto Jr out of Zeorieta Texel (by Ferro) and is bred by Wim van der Linde.
The black was approved at the 2019 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch at the beginning of February but still needs to do his stallion performance test this spring or autumn to obtain licensed status.
The colt, however, has now been sold to Dressage Mala Skala, which is owned by Belgian entrepreneur and millionaire Jan van Geet. He is the life partner of French Grand Prix rider Alizee Froment.
Van Geet and Froment run Dressage Mala Skala just outside Prague in the Czech Republic. Van Geet recently invested in the castle "Gestelhof" in Belgium, which was originally listed for sale for 18 million euro.
Alizee Froment has competed at international Grand Prix level with the now retired Mistral du Coussoul. Her last CDI start was in June 2015. Since then Froment has been focusing on appearing at exhibitions, demonstrating "free dressage" and bitless riding.
