Lucie-Anouk Baumgurtel, the 2016 and 2017 European Pony Championship, has added a fourth pony to her ranks, Golden Grey.
The 5-year old buckskin stallion is by Golden State x Clooney x Dressman.
He was the reserve champion at the 2014 German Pony Foal Championship and became the third premium stallion at the 2016 Westfalian Pony Stallion Licensing. Since then the stallion won two silver medals at the German Young Pony Championships under Mareike Mimberg in 2017 and 2018.
Baumgurtel has been actively campaigning her number one pony Massimiliano since 2016. After his rather disappointing start at the 2018 Europeans in Bishop Burton, the buckskin has not been out to compete internationally since August 2018. Lucie's younger sister Lana-Pinou has taken over the ride on Massimiliano and they have made a winning show debut at the CDN Ankum last weekend.
Lucie-Anouk has been focusing on her two other ponies: Coriander and Classic Dream, with whom she made her 2019 CDI kick off in Le Mans in February.
At the pony stallion show in Vechta last weekend, Baumgurtel made her first public appearance on her latest acquisition, Golden Grey.
