The 5-year olds Grey Rose and the 6-year old Who's Who became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional dressage show in Schönhausen, Germany, on 14 - 15 June 2019.
Fourteen duo's competed in the 5-year old division and Julia Kay moved into the winner's circle aboar Silke Pelzer's Oldenburg mare Grey Rose (by Grey Flanell x Furst Romancier). The dark bay mare earned 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression to average 8.2 points. Belgian Bart Desender and Gestut von Bellin's Hanoverian stallion Fine Art (by Fidertanz x De Niro) landed second place with 8.1.. The black stallion got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression.
Just three riders competed in the 6-year old class and Heike Schmidt-Bosse won the M-level dressage horse test on Hannes Baumgart's Hanoverian mare Who's Who (by Weltregent H x Rascalino) with 7.5, a score that did not suffice for a ticket to Warendorf. The mare got 7 for walk, 7.5 for trot, 8 for canter and 7.5 for submission and general impression. Lara Wolenski and the Oldenburg stallion A La Vin Rouge (by Antango x Stedinger) slotted in second with 6.5 after receiving 6.5 for walk and canter, 7 for trot, 6 for submission and 6.5 for general impression.
