Seven stallions have been entered via the Pavo Cup to begin the special trajectory for licensing with the KWPN society.
Proving performance via the pavo cup circuit has become a much liked way for Dutch warmblood stallions to fulfil the requirements of performance as part of the KWPN licensing process. Both Imposantos and Jameson RS2 did the performance part of the testing via the Pavo Cup instead of the traditional performance test in Ermelo.
The 2019 Pavo Cup semi finals took place yesterday and seven stallions who aim for licensing were competing in them.
Six 4-year olds are included in the list of licensing candidates: Kronos (by Kimberly x Krack C) under Theo Hanzon, the Westfalian bred Fonq (by Fürst Fohlenhof x Lissaro) under Jessica-Lynn Thomas, Kevin Costner Texel (by Negro x Jazz) under Emmelie Scholtens, Kuvazs RS2 (by Glamourdale x Niro) under Marieke van der Putten, Dai Ko Myo TF (by Dante Weltino x Rhodes Scolar) under Theo Hanzon abd Spartacus (by Sarotti Mocca Sahne x Fidertanz) under Diederik van Silfhout.
One 5-year old, Jakarta (by Five Star) who already tried the performance testing twice, will now try to get licensed via the Pavo Cup. He's ridden by Theo Hanzon
