Swedish Warmblood Elite Foal Auction

The Swedish Warmblood Association is proud to present the 2019 collection of elite foals and horses, the selection based on looks, movement, the performance-oriented bloodlines, excellent dam lines and international pedigrees overall. The auction will take place on Friday September 27 in the beautiful surroundings of Flyinge, the Swedish National Equestrian Center.

Foals that are bound to attract special attention are:

The athletic and modern type colt Dux Carneo F by Governor – San Amour – Weltmeyer. A colt with chrome and with refinement to spare, correct in conformation and with three super gaits. This colt is the fourth foal out of the same mare to be selected for the Elite Auction. Sired by the incredibly successful Governor this is a future dressage star.

The impressive filly Videlia by Vivaldon – D-Day – Steinbeck has massive performance in her damline. Plenty of diplomas, young and mature horse success and capping it off with the fact that her sister Camelia produced Machacho by Maserati, top young dressage horse in Sweden of his year, now FEI dressage. Granddam Ophelia is a producer of an approved stallion and many successful sporthorses both up to M -level dressage as well as 1.50 m showjumping. Videlia is out of the sire Vivaldon’s very exciting first foal crop.

The eye-catching Sparkling M is following in his family’s hoof steps with his sister Divine M having produced Fabulous M and Adorable M both selected for the 2016 and 2018 Elite Foal Auction. Fabulous M created quite a stir when he sold for a record sum of 45 000 Euro. Sparkling is by the very top producer (think Valegro!) Negro. This colt is destined for success!

The extraordinary colt Faithful YL by Franklin – Sandro Hit – Cocktail is out of a superstar damline producing International Grand Prix dressage horses and approved stallion, for example Butopiar by Johnson and Radar by Cocktail. Faithful YL is a foal for the fastidious buyer. Sired by the popular Franklin whose foals sell for top euros all over Europe. This black gem could be yours on September 27.

SWB Equestrian Weeks Dressage

The Elite Auction is the highlight of the week in Flyinge where Breeders Trophy in dressage, the Swedish Young Horse Championship is taking place September 25-29. The top 3 - 7 - year old horses in dressage meet and compete for the coveted Breeders Trophy award. The international top rider, Olympic – as well as WEG gold medal winner Charlotte Dujardin (GB) will be the test rider of the 4 - year old dressage horses on September 28. An event not to be missed!

SAAB International Grand Prix

But that’s not all! This year SWB is pairing the youngster competitions with SAAB International Grand Prix with riders from seven different countries. What better opportunity to really see where it all begins; from foal to Grand Prix.
