Bellissima became the top selling horse in the 2019 Klosterhof Medingen auction on Sunday 29 September 2019.
The 4-year old Hanoverian mare Bellissima (by Borsalino x Distelzar) sold for 240,000 euro to a Brandenburg based client.
The second most expensive horse was the 6-year old Bavarian bred Don Henry (by Danone x Stedinger), who will move to the Hamburg area for 170,000 euro.
Bond Girl sold for 150,000 euro to Lower Saxony, the 3-year old Hanoverian Feu D'Amour (by Flanell x Donnerhall) fetched 110,000 euro and the 7-year old Hanoverian gelding Ehrengold (by Estobar x Lauries Crusador xx) 105,000 euro.
Clients from Baden-Wurttemberg paid 100,000 euro for the 6-year old Hanoverian mare Diamita (by Dimaggio x Calypso II). Only three horses will move outside Germany with Dancing Flower (by Danone x Weltruhm) selling for 40,000 as the most expensive horse sold abroad, to Sweden.
The most expensive foal sold for 40,000 euro. A Danish client bought two for this amount: Q-Acht (by Q-Sieben x Sir Donnerhall) and Quite Shiny (by Q-Sieben x Furst Heinrich). Also going to Denmark is Bella Borsalina (by Borsalino x Latino) for 35,000 euro.
A local German buyer purchased Quentchen Glück (by Quentchen Glück) for 30,000 euro. A Swiss customer bought Benedikt (by Borsalino x Diamond Hit) for 25,000 euro.
The average price for a sport horse was 73,000 euro, the average price for a foal was 15,500 euro.
