The black mare Up To Date became the price highlight of the 2019 Oldenburg Autumn Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany, on 5 October 2019.
The San Amour x De Niro x Ponticello xxx mare, bred by Helmut Kleen, sold for 110,000 to Bavaria.
The second most expensive horse in this auction was the show jumper Lacrimoso (by Lord Fauntleroy x Baloubet de Rouet) which sold for 65,000 euro.
The dark bay mare Tanzgräfin (by For Romance x Sandro Hit) sold for 64,000 euro to a German client. Another German bought Fairplay (by Fahrenheit x Donnerhall) and Bon Ami (by Bon Coeur x Argentinus) for 50,000 euro.
Canadians paid the same price of 57,000 euro for the black gelding My Dance Star (by Morricone x Sandro Hit), while Dutch clients secured For Cruz (by Furst Romancier x Sandro Hit) for 36,000 euro.
American customers bought Rose Rhapsodie (by Quantensprung x Donnerschwee- for 35,000 euro. Brits purchased the dark bay mare Dolce Vita (by Don Nobless x Furst Romancier) for 23,000 euro.
The best selling foal in this auction was the black colt Big Brand (by Bonds x Sir Donnerhall x Rubioso N), bred by Sandra Grede. He sold for 57,000 euro to Erika Schwarzkopf.
Sandro's Wolke (by Sandro Hit x Destano) fetched 21,000 euro, filly Avenida Dream (by Bon Coeur x For Romance) sold for 19,000 euro.
Zsa Zsa (by Zoom x Sir Donnerhall) sold for 17,000 euro, while Super Dry (by Secret x Stedinger) moves to The Netherlands for 16,000 euro.
Almost a third of all riding horses will inspire Oldenburg friends abroad in the future. Specifically, these quality horses will cause a sensation in the Netherlands (3), USA (2), Belgium (1), Canada (1) France (1), United Arab Emirates (1) and United Kingdom (1). In the foal collection, six young Oldenburg talents were auctioned to Canada (2), Sweden (2), the Netherlands (1) and Switzerland (1).
The average price for a sport horse in this auction was 35,118 euro, the average price for a foal was 13,216 euro.
