Spanish Olympian Jose Daniel Martin Dockx and his longtime sponsor Kimberly van Kampen of Hampton Green Farms in the U.S.A. have decided to part ways.  The two have collaborated for 12 years.

Van Kampen and Martin Dockx started working together in 2007 and the first horse that the Spaniard got allocated was the PRE stallion Encanto XI (by Evento x ).

In 2009 they became reserve champions in the Spanish Developing Prix St Georges  Championships and the pair made its international Grand Prix debut  together at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera.

In 2011 Van Kampen also sent bay stallion Grandioso III (by Adelante x Sevillano IX) to Spain after Grandioso's U.S. rider Courtney King had suffered a tragic fall from another horse in 2010, which caused permanent brain damage.

Martin Dockx and Grandioso became one of Spain's strongest international Grand Prix pairs and the stallion was a flagship for PRE breeding. They competed at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. They represented Spain at the 2013 and 2015 European Championships and the 2014 World Equestrian Games. They were Spanish GP champions in 2011 and 2014. They concluded their career with their last show, the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

As of 2014 Martin Dockx rode exclusively for Hampton Green Farm, which ensured him a constant supply of horses, such as Adelante, Idolo Americano, Vaquero HGF, Bolero CXLVIII, Ataturc DUC, Campanero HGF, Oxido.

After the Rio Olympics, Daniel disappeared from the CDI Grand Prix scene but campaigned talented PRE's in the international  young horse classes, such as Ataturc DUC and Campanero HGF, but he was most successful on Mejorano HGF (by Grandioso III x Galan XVI). They showed at the 2018 World Young Horse Championships in the 7-year old division and in 2019 Daniel rode Mejorano in the international medium tour.

This year Martin Dockx also began campaigning his wife's horse Manchego ARB at international Grand Prix level.

Martin Dockx announced the ending of the 12-year collaboration on his social media.

"I want to thank the horses and owner Kim Van Kampen for the confidence placed in me during these years," said Daniel. "Now I look towards a new future with great enthusiasm, hope and optimism with which I hope to meet new challenges and fulfill new goals."

"Our parting is amicable and I wish Dani all good things going forward," Kimberly van Kampen told Eurodressage. "We had many thrilling moments with many horses, but now it's time for me to focus on my daughters and my riders here in the US."

In the U.S.A. the Hampton Green Farm horses are competed by American Under 25 rider Kerrigan Gluch.
