Canadian Grand Prix rider Lindsay Kellock has added a new horse to her string:  The 7-year old Hanoverian bred Tu Le Merite (by Totilas x Sarkozy x Royal Dance).

Kellock has been riding the wave of success since this summer. Not only did she win team gold at the 2019 Pan American Games on Floratina, but with her Grand Prix horse Sebastien she bagged two success World Cup qualifier victories in Saugerties and Devon.

The 29-year old Kellock has been an assistant trainer to Canadian born U.S. Grand Prix rider Ashley Holzer, for seven years and two years ago Lindsay made the brave decision to begin her independent business. She is currently based at Melissa Schiff Soros' Enterprise Farm in Rhinebeck, NY and in Wellington for the winter.

Tu Le Merite is now the newest addition in her barn, purchased by her client Lisa Apa.

"Lisa bought him for me to develop and compete and then it will be for her in the end. Hopefully he will be a future team horse." Kellock told Eurodressage. "He’s really cool. I’m excited. I think he looks a bit like his dad."

Tu Le Merite was originally discovered at the 2018 Horses and Dreams Online Auction at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, where the seller, Brazilian Tania Loeb Wald, had bought him.
