Final Dancer, Top Seller for Taiwan at the 2019 Oldenburg Special Edition Auction

Customers from all over the world met for Christmas Shopping at the 2nd Oldenburg Special Edition at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta, Germany, on 7 December 2019. More than 70 percent of the auction horses of the 2nd Oldenburger Special Edition will bring joy to their new owners abroad.

For the top price of 101,000 euro, a successful participant of the Asian Games from Taiwan found an unique Christmas present in Vechta. The seven-year-old Final Dancer (by Fidertanz - Sir Donnerhall I - Lafontaine) is bred by Bernd Broghammer from Bösingen, and was owned by Nicole Hartmann from Hennef.

The second most expensive horse sold for 86,000 euro. The 4-year-old jumper crack Touchdown (by Toulon - Argentinus - Landadel), bred by Reinhold Schnieder from Lastrup, and exhibited by Agmenton, Estonia, sold to a young talented American rider.

The third best auction price was 58,000 euro for London Calling OLD (by Carembar de Muze (aka London) - Cordalmé Z - Grannus, bred and exhibited by Henry Gr. Macke from Uptloh.

Veuve Clicquot (by Vivaldi - Stedinger - Rotspon), bred by Thore Kockerols from Bremen, and exhibited by Perkovic Equestrian Investments, Bremen, sold for 53,000 euro to a renowned dressage stable in Sweden.

Canadian dressage rider Evi Strasser will celebrate a very special Christmas party. For 52,000 euro she secured the finalist of the German Championships Vive la Vie OLD (by Honoré du Soir/Trak. - Detroit - Rohdiamant), bred by Bodo Willms from Oldenburg, and exhibited by the owner group BTWW from Oldenburg.

Swedish clients paid 41,000 euro for For the Future (by For Romance x Don Schufro) and 42,000 euro for Bestseller (by Bordeaux x Rohdiamant).  An Austrian purchased Fabelhaft (by Franziskus x De Niro) for 31,000 euro. 

Oldenburg fans from abroad purchased 15 of the 21 horses. The Oldenburg horses will bring joy to their new owners in Belgium (3), Sweden (3), Canada (2), Netherlands (2), Austria (1), Ireland (1), Spain (1), Taiwan (1), and in the USA (1).

The 2nd Oldenburger Special Edition shone with an average price of around 34,000 euro and total sales of 712,000 euro.
