Geneviève Pfister has announced her resignation as Swiss dressage chef d'equipe and team captain for the senior and Under 25 squads, effective immediately.

Pfister took up the job in May 2015 and has seen a string of Dressage Directors come and go at the Swiss Equestrian Federation (SVPS): Nicola Heyser-Burger, Martin Wyss, and Marlyse Schatzmann. Markus Flisch is the current Swiss dressage director.

"She wants to make room for a new workforce in time for the next big Championships. The Technical staff understands her opinion and thanks Geneviève Pfister for her work," a press release from the Swiss NF read.

Evelyne Niklaus, sport director at the SVPS, will take up the role of chef d'equipe for the elite, perspective and U25 squads ad interim.
