2020 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show Rescheduled for 16 August 2020

The 2020 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show, which was supposed to take place in Rastede on 11 June, has been rescheduled for 16 August 2020 due to the corona pandemic.

The rescheduled edition of the 2020 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show will take place in the outdoor stadium at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta, Germany.

Also the Mare Performance Tests, on which the assessment of the mares at the Elite show is partly based, have been rescheduled.

Oldenburg mares can do their performance test in Vechta on 3, 6 and 7 August 2020 in order to receive a Verband premium and to be invited to the elite show.

The actual Oldenburg Elite Mare Show has been rescheduled for Sunday 16 August 2020, which will be in between the elite foal auction and the foal market.

There will unfortunately be no dates for the canceled Mare Performance Tests outside the core breeding area.

"We ask for your understanding," said the GOV press officer. "Of course, you can present your mare to the Oldenburg Evaluation Commission nationwide from mid-June on the planned foal registration dates."
