The organizers behind the Almased Dressage Amateurs have decided to cancel the 2020 circuit and aim for a relaunch in 2021.

"Due to the current situation, we have made the decision to postpone the Almased Dressage Amateurs tournament to 2021," said spokesperson Sofie Loft. "Unfortunately it has not been possible for us to go through with the originally planned legs of the tournament, as some of the shows has been cancelled or changed to a later date."

Almased Dressage Amateurs was going into its third year as a German-Danish show circuit for amateurs dressage riders. For 2020 five host cities had planned on hosting the circuit:  Balve, Donaueschingen and Verden were newcomers, Hamburg and Herning returned on the calendar.

Due to the corona pandemic three of the events had already been cancelled or postponed. Now the organizers decided to cancel the 2020 edition entirely and start up afresh in 2021.
