The Danish bred and Russian owned Grand Prix horse Heslegaards Rismon has been sold to Danish young rider Sandra Aagaard Hyrm as her schoolmaster and future Under 25 ride.

Heslegaards Rismon is a 15-year old Danish warmblood by Heslegaards Rubin x Heslegaards Louis.

The grey gelding was first competed in Denmark by Michala Damm - Frydenberg in 2010.  In 2011 they represented Denmark at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, where they placed sixth in the 6-year old Consolation Finals. At the 2011 Danish Young Horse Championships they were eighth. In 2012 they moved to Prix St Georges level and by 2015 they were doing Grand Prix. Their career highlight and final show was placing 8th at the 2015 Danish Grand Prix Championships.

In July 2015 Danish horse dealer Hasse Hoffmann bought a share in the ownership of Rismon and he took over the ride. Hoffmann campaigned the grey in his first international show, the CDI Oslo, in October 2015 and they won the Grand Prix Special with 67.727%. Hoffmann rode him at a few CDI's through 2016 but then the horse disappeared off the radar.

The horse sold to Russia and Ekaterina Podlytkina resurfaced with Rismon at the 2018 CDI Radzionkow in Poland. She competed the horse at international Grand Prix level through 2019, using Helgstrand Dressage as a base. In September 2019 Helgstrand's team rider Carina Nevermann Torup rode the horse in a national show in Denmark, after which Podlytkina shipped the horse to Exloo for the Olympic team qualification event. Their last start together was the CDI Randbol in November 2019.

Sandra Aagaard Hyrm and Rismon
In February Rismon sold to Danish young rider Sandra Aagaard Hyrm. She has been a member of the Danish pony team, competing at the 2013 and 2014 European Pony Championships. She made her transition to junior level in 2015 aboard Dicardo. In 2016 she rode Cash and as of 2017 she has been competing at Young Riders level on Cavanillas W.

The 21-year old Sandra has reached the age limit and now has to transition to either the senior division or Under 25 Grand Prix class. With Heslegaards Rismon she'll be able to make that jump in level, while Cavanillas W is being prepared for the Grand Prix as well. She trains with Maria Anita Andersen.

"Rismon will my schoolmaster for Under 25," Sandra told Eurodressage. "We hope to make our debut when the competitions will open up again. Cavanillas is doing great, we are schooling Uu25 at home now. So we hope to compete at U25 level next year or the end of this year and small tour the rest of the year. So I can get the routine on Rismon and bring that routine/experience on Cavanillas."
