German pony team trainer Connie Endres has pre-selected 14 riders who are eligible to compete in the the German team selection trial for the 2020 European Pony Championships.
Endres and the Youth Dressage selection committee of the German Equestrian Federation selected the group based on training seminars, which were already held in Warendorf, as well as the CDI Mariakalnok which took place last weekend.
The actual German pony team will be picked at a two-day selection event to be held at the DOKR centre in Warendorf on 17 - 19 July 2020.
The invited combinations for this team trial - 14 riders with 18 ponies in total - are:

- Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel - Nasdaq
- Shona Benner - Der Kleine Sunnyboy
- Vivien Borgmann - Kachunga
- Antonia Busch-Kuffner - Cockney Cracker and Double Diamond
- Diana de Meo - Charly Brown
- Sophie Luisa Duen - Dimacci D and Del Estero (dependable on a viewing by the team trainer before the selection trial)
- Chiara Göbel - Nobel Noir
- Marie Foltfreter - Dancing Daylight
- Lara Middelberg - Drink Pink
- Rose Oatley - Daddy Moon
- Antonia Roth - Daily Pleasure
- Julie Schmitz-Heinen - Carlos and Carleo Go
- Paulina von Wulffen - Dujardin B and Top Queen H
The European Pony Championships are held at the 2020 European Youth Championships in Pilisjaszfalu near Budapest, Hungary, on 25 - 30 August 2020.
