French Grand Prix rider Alexandre Ayache has sold his second GP horse Domino to Brazil.

Dressprod.com reported that Domino has been sold to Brazilian Micheline Ivette Schulze.

Domino is a 12-year old KWPN gelding by Spielberg out of Wodorette (by Farrington). He is bred by J. Koopman and was owned by Ayache in partnership with Belgians Serge and Anneke Pais.

The bay gelding was trained to Grand Prix level at Stable Bernoski in The Netherlands, before selling to Belgian horse dealers Serge and Anneke Pais.

The horse then moved to Nice, France, to be further developed and competed by Alexandre Ayache, who made his international show debut on Domino in 2019.  The combination competed at the CDI's in Budapest, Mariakalnok, Brno and Nice and achieved an averge of 66%, but in Brno they climbed to 68.283%.

The 63-year old Micheline Ivette Schulze, who runs fitness centers in Sao Paulo, first represented Brazil at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, where she finished 26th on the Thoroughbred Mon Petit. Three years later she went to the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, and ranked 65th on the Swedish warmblood Frapé (by Pepe x Furidani).

Schulze returned to the international stage after a 6 year break. In 2008 she made an attempt to qualify the Zweibrucken mare Lady Larome (by Larome x Wandersmann) for the Olympic Games in Hong Kong and worked with German coach Thomas Schmitz at the time.

From 2012 till 2019 she has been competing the Oldenburg registerd Matisse (by Quincy) first at small tour level. She twice tried to start at Grand Prix level but withdrew each time.

In 2013 and 2014 she also rode the Westfalian Fariano (by Furst Piccolo) and in 2015 the Westfalian Diamond Boy (by Diamond Hit) for one season. Most recently the Lusitano mare Brentina Comando SN joined her string of horses at international show in Brazil.
