Ekestrian Online Auction
Vogue (by Valdiviani) out of Suger Pearl (by Sandro Hit x Weinzauber)

Vogue became the best selling foal in the 2020 Rhenania online foal auction run by the French auction house Ekestrian.com. The bidding concluded on 29 July 2020.

For the first time German breeder Matthias Fieseler of Rhenania Horses teamed up with Ekestrian to sell all his foals through an online auction. Not all lots sold, but those that did sold abroad.

The price highlight was filly Vogue (by Valdiviani) out of Suger Pearl (by Sandro Hit x Weinzauber). The filly is a half sister of the 2018 Hanoverian Elite Mare Champion Vanity Fair (by Vivaldi out of Sugar Pearl). The highest bid for Vogue was  24,500 euro and with 11% auction fees the total price was little over 27,000 euro. The filly sold to Switzerland.

Dutch customers secured Balenciaga (by Bonds) out of Frau Pigge (by Fidertanz x De Vito). The dam is a full sister to licensed stallions Foundation and Glock's Flavio. The bidding stopped at 12,000 euro.

A Belgian customer had the highest bid of 10,000 euro for Victoria's Angel (by Vivino x Fidertanz x De Niro) and of 6,000 euro for Jolanda (by Jameson x Don Schufro).

The bidding for the Rhenania foals in the Ekestrian auction led to an average bidding price of 12,800 euro per foal.

Several foals will stay with the owner as they did not meet the reserve price Fieseler had set for them, this includes Jades (by Jameson x Fidertanz x De Vito) for which the bidding went up to 24,000 euro.
