The organizing committee of the 2020 CDI Waregem in Belgium has announced the cancellation of the international competition.
The 2020 CDI Waregem was set to take place on on 17 - 20 September 2020. The event was to hold classes for Children, pony, junior, young riders and Under 25 riders as well as a 3* tour at small and big tour level.
"Due to Covid-19 situation we only have a limited number of registered participants and we had already some withdraws due the quarantaine-rules," said the Waregem show committee. "It was no easy decision but we for the future of our event, we decided to cancel the 2020 edition."
Even director Marie-Laure Bouckaert added that, "we will refund the registered participants who have already paid for their entry."
Waregem first took place in 2017 and has been running for three consecutive years. It hopes to return back on the calendar in 2021.
"We are looking forward to see you all at the 2021 edition," said Bouckaert.
