A few weeks ago the 2020 German Dressage championships were held at Balve. One pair was celebrated and honoured with Gold for its outstanding performance: TSF Dalera BB and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl. Due to their impressive series of success the Trakehner Verband has decided to name Dalera BB, for the third time already, Trakehner of the Year.
Bred by Silke Druckenmüller and owned by Beatrice Bürchler-Keller, Dalera BB is a 13-year-old Trakehner mare by Easy Game x Handryk.
This harmonious duo can look back at winning the 2020 world cup qualifier at Neumünster, team gold at the 2019 European championship of dressage at Rotterdam and individual Bronze at the 2019 European championships freestyle.
The Trakehner of the Year award is given during the Trakehner Hengstmarkt, the stallion market, at Neumünster. Usually this event is the very special highlight of the Trakehner year. Due to the corona pandemic and the very special rules for hygiene and administrative restrictions going with it, the event will be run differently this time. Nevertheless, the licensing and auctions of the elite horses of their generation will take place at the Holstenhallen of Neumünster from 15 to 17 October.
