Dutch-German Bidding Duel for Be My Lady in 2020 Westfalian Autumn Elite Auction

Be My Lady became the best selling horse of the 2020 Westfalian Autumn Elite Auction for which the online bidding concluded on 4 October 2020

Be My Lady (by Bonds x Ehrenpreis) sold for 182,000 euro after an online bidding duel between a Dutch and German client for 15 minutes. Bred by  ZG Ulmker, the bay mare ended up selling to a German. 

Eight horses sold for 50,000 euro and more. Out of 39 horses sold, 20 sold abroad. The collection included 46 horses and 39 of them sold. 

The second horse to break the magic 100,000 euro mark was Blinding Light (by Benicio x Laudabilis), bred by Maria Leusmann. A new customer from the Netherlands won the bidding duel and paid 106,000 euro for the chestnut. 

Aschenputtel V (by Apollon x Santano) found a new owner for 91,000 euro. Foxi Brown (by Flashdance x Show Star) fetched 75,000 euro and Sabrina (by Sir Heinrich x Beltoni) sold for 61,000 euro.

Belmore (by Belissimo M x Fidertanz) moves abroad for 50,000 euro. The same price was paid for Fabergé (by For Romance I x Hohenstein).

Hey Henkie (by Hermes x Cabochon) fetched 46,000 euro. 

The licensed pony stallion Gigabyte found new owners for 44,000 eurouros. The 4-year-old Hesselteichs Golden Dream x Chantre B-son (breeder: Reiner Bockholt) competed at the 2020 Bundeschampionate.

The average price for a horse in this auction was 34,538 euro.
