Dutch team rider Anne Meulendijks parted with her 2019 World Young Horse Championship ride Hot-Spot PB. The chestnut gelding has been sold to 14-year old German-Polish rider Caroline Pawluk.
Hot-Spot PB is a 2012 born KWPN gelding and one of the very few offspring by the World Young Horse Champion Dancer (now Nicola Krause's young riders' horse). He is out of Korenda B (by Cocktail x Kaiserstern xx) and bred by the late Petra Bijvelds in Erp, The Netherlands.
The chestnut was first competed by former Dutch youth team rider Danielle Houtvast for his owners at the time, Milou Zijlstra and Jaap Quartel.
In October 2018 they sold Hot-Spot PB to Floortje Hazenveld. Floortje competed the horse first before handing over the ride to Anne Meulendijks in 2019.
The new pair qualified for the 2019 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where they finished 12th in the Finals for 7-year olds.
Hot-Spot PB has now been sold to 14-year old German-Polish rider Caroline Pawluk. In 2020 Caroline competed Fatum (by Furst Hohenstein x Furst Heinrich) at A-level in Germany. She also rides GR Seabiscuit (by Sir Samarant x Flemmingh) and had pony Tackmann's Giotto (by HET Golden Dream x Valiant Starlight).
