Surprice: Breeding Stallion and Small Tour Schoolmaster
The black beauty Surprice is not just a confirmed Prix St Georges level schoolmaster, who fascinates with his lovely character and rideability, but he is also a successful Oldenburg (GOV) licensed stallion. He is also approved for breeding for the Hanoverian, Rhinelander, Mecklenburg, Bavaria, and Sachsen-Thuringia breed society.
He is sired by the world famous stallion Sir Donnerhall I. For years Sir Donnerhall I was one of the most successful sires of auction horses and producer of top horses selling for 6-digit prices. His progeny impresses repeatedly with their great modern type and supple movements. On the FN breeding Value ranking Sir Donnerhall I is one of the best sires for dressage horses. So far more than 100 descendants have been successful in dressage at S level – a unique result. Surprice's dam sire is Prince Thatch xx who passes on refinement and athleticism. This is proven by the numerous international Grand Prix dressage horses he sired, such as Piccolino (Klaus Husenbeth), Gestion Joker (Anky van Grunsven) and Lesotho (Ellen Schulten-Baumer).
Surprice inherited reliability, good work ethic, he is a naturally nice mover, especially his extended canter is outstanding. As a sire he produced the German Foal Champion of 2011. He has some remarkable offspring such as Isabell Werth's rising start Superb, who achieved 72,2% last year in Prix St-Georges at the 2020 CDI Achleiten.

The auction starts on Monday 22 March 2021 at 18:00 hrs and concludes on Friday 26 March 2021 at 18:00 hrs (Dutch time), when bidding on each horse will be closed online, one by one.
