The 5-year old Brilliant and the 6-year old Fürst Kennedy became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the special dedicated Bucha selection show held at the Munster-St. Georg riding club on 24 June 2021.
5-YO: Brilliant
Sixteen combinations rode the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds, which was judged by Heinz-Holger Lammers, Ralph Schmidt, and Uwe Fährenkämper.
Professional Wibke Hartmann-Stommel piloted Wilhelm Rüscher-Konermann's Westfalian stallion Brilliant (by Baccardi x Samarant) to victory with an impressive 8.6 points. The dark bay stallion received 9 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 9 for general impression.
Nele Löbbert and her own Hanoverian mare Fiana (by Furstenball x Brentano II) followed in their wake on second place with 8.1 points. The dark bay mare got 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
6-YO: Fürst Kennedy
The M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds was judged by Uwe Fährenkämper, Ralph Schmidt, and Heinz-Holger Lammers and ten pairs contested the class.
Portuguese pro Joao Moreira is on a roll with his own and Roberto Pedrosa's Oldenburg stallion Furst Kennedy (by Fursten-Look x Don Kennedy). After winning the qualifier in Hamminkeln-Töven on 11 June 2021, the pair also bested the field in Münster with a total score of 8.3. The black stallion got 9 for walk and trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
Maike Mende and Gut Hülsen's DSP stallion Sir Girovanni T (by Sir Donnerhall x Don Girovanni) were second on 8.0 and qualified for Warendorf. The pair received straight 8s for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression.
