Nadine Capellmann has sold her internationally competed Grand Prix horse Lagerfeld K to the U.S.A. and got new magic in Grand Prix hopeful Hocus Pocus, which she found through German horse dealer Jochen Arl.
Never sitting still and on the look-out for the next rising star, Jochen Arl discovered the 9-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Hocus Pocus (by Apache x Osmium) in Great Britain and matched him to Capellmann.
The talented chestnut with an extraordinary potential for piaffe and passage briefly moved in training with one of Arl's riders, Norwegian Anne Lene Holmen in Germany, before he relocated to the stables of the German Olympian Capellmann.

With Nadine having a new, exciting project in Hocus Pocus, Anne Lene Holmen has also been developing the 5-year old KWPN gelding Luciano Ely T (by Ferdeaux x Florencio).
Jochen found this talented youngster in The Netherlands and has sold a half ownership share to Portuguese Grand Prix rider Maria Pais do Amaral.
Lagerfeld K to the U.S.A.
Capelmman sold her 13-year old Hanoverian Lagerfeld K (by Londontime x Don Crusador) to the U.S.A.
Nadine competed the horse at international small and medium tour level in the spring of 2018, after which Spanish Borja Carrascosa confirmed the gelding at Grand Prix level. The new pair achieved 70+ scores at the CDN Ankum, and their first international Grand Prix tests together at the 2018 CDI Le Mans and 2019 CDI Sint-Truiden in 2019.
Lagerfeld K has now been sold to California, U.S.A. The ride on the gelding has been given to Tina Caldwell, who is coached by U.S. Olympian Guenter Seidel.
Borja and Arl continue to collaborate with Carrascosa now developing the 9-year old Oldenburg gelding Bon Romantic (by Bordeaux x Don Romantic) with whom he's scheduled to make his international Grand Prix debut next weekend at the CDI Grote Brogel in Belgium.
