The bay colt Venire became the best seller of the foal auction held at the 2021 Schafhof Dressage Festival on 26 June 2021. This was the second online foal auction that Gestut Schafhof hosted at their yard, the first under the banner of the DSP breed society.

Bred by Gabriele Eder and presented by her husband Manfred at auction, the colt by Va Bene x De Niro sold for 80,000 euro to a stallion keeper who wished to remain anonymous. He placed the winning by phone as the auction ran in a hybrid format with online, telephone and on the scene bidding.

The second most expensive foal was the black Dark Dream (by Dynamic Dream x Ampere), bred by Robert and Petra Knott. He sold for 45,000 euro to show host Matthias Alexander Rath.

The third best selling foal was colt For Success (by For Romance x Dante Weltino), bred by Hendrik Niehe. He fetched 21,000. Colt Drappatoni (by Don Romance x Vilancio), bred by Simone Klotz, sold for 20,500 euro.

The most expensive filly was Fabienne (by Foundation x Dream Boy). She found a new owner for 17,500 euro.

Colt Back to Black (by Bohemian x Apache) went for 16,000 eurp and filly Sue Ellen (by So Perfect x Londontime) for 11,000 euro. All other foals went below 10,000 euro.

Fifteen dressage bred foals were offered and they fetched an average price of 17,500 euro, of course heavily boosted by the top seller.
