German Olympic team rider Dorothee Schneider has welcomed a new addition to her barn: the 8-year old stallion Flashback.
Flashback is an 8-year old Swiss warmblood by Franziskus out of Sugar Love (by Sir Donnerhall). He is bred by Christian Bürki.
Initially owned by Volker Brodhecker in partnership with the company Dressurhengste Schleier from Darmstadt, Germany, and since 2019 fully owned by Schleier, the dark bay stallion was first competed by Brodhecker after which Carolin Brandt took over the ride.
Brandt and Flashback made their international show debut in the 6-year old tests at the 2019 CDI Wiesbaden and then competed at the 2019 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, finishing 15th in the consolation finals with 77.60 points.
Flashback has now moved to Dorothee Schneider's Gestut St. Stephan.
"I am very happy to be able to train him from now on," she wrote on social media.
