With the 2021 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses rapidly approaching on 25 August, three changes in the line-up of horses competing have been announced.
Spain saw both its selected 7-year olds drop out. First Gustavo Artillo's PRE bred Banduendo (by Amazonas x Montanes III) dropped out and today Alberto García-Briñón and PRE stallion Norteno FS (by Galeote TF x Ermitano III) pulled out due to an injury. The black stallion was the winner of the Spanish Masters for 7-year olds and considered Spain's strongest ticket in that age group.
Both reserves have now been called up. They are Joseph Robert Hunt on Teatrero de Centurion and Alejandro Sánchez del Barco on Quadrigo Nadales V.
France will see Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin riding the Belgian warmblood Parodie ter Dolen instead of the Hanoverian Friedrich Schiller. The 6-year old Hanoverian (Finest x Desperados) has a small health issue and has been replaced by Charlotte's own reserve horse Parodie ter Dolen (by Fursten-Look x Di Caprio).
The definite entry list for Verden can be seen here.
