Mon Repos castle in Ludwigsburg

The first International Ludwigsburg Dressage Festival will celebrate its premiere from 23 - 26 September on the grounds of Schloss Monrepos in Ludwigsburg. Visitors can look forward to international dressage and a small but select lifestyle exhibition in front of the impressive backdrop of the historic lakeside castle.

Due to the global Corona pandemic the premiere of the event had to be postponed twice already. "It would have been a shame to launch this new concept in its very first year without the support of spectators and equestrian fans. So, together with Reitverein Ludwigsburg-Monrepos, we have decided to wait until conditions allow for a safe attendance of visitors again," explains organiser Ulli Kasselmann.

Dressage fans should mark the date in their calendars:  A CDI1* and CDI4* tour, qualification for the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL as well as the final of the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL for juniors and the Pony Masters Baden Württemberg are scheduled. The schedule is now online and entries close 6 September 2021. Following the FEI Dressage European Championships in Hagen a.T.W. a few days earlier, this will be another opportunity to see top dressage live. Admission will be free of charge this year.

About the International Ludwigsburg Dressage Festival

The idea for the festival was conceived by equestrian sports pioneer Ullrich Kasselmann and the chairman of the Reit- und Fahrverein Ludwigsburg, Dr. Werner Hildenbrand. A collaboration was obvious, as the team around Ullrich and Francois Kasselmann has a special track record in organising top sporting events for many years.

The Horses and Dream Entertainment GmbH team is delighted to be working together with the Reit- und Fahrverein Ludwigsburg to put on another first-class international event. Michael Herzog von Württemberg is the patron of the event.
