German equestrian photographer Barbara Schnell first contributed to Eurodressage in 2005. Sixteen years later she has been on of our steady forces bringing a new, creative eye to our dressage photography.
The last few years Barbara has done less photo work as she focused mainly on her primary job, translating literature. She is the head translator for Diana Gabaldon's historic fantasy novels (from English to German) and also takes care of her three Friesians.
Due to the corona pandemic I hadn't seen Barbara in two years but we reconnected at the CDIO Aachen, a show Barbara does not want to miss. Check out her selection of photos from her favourite spot, the warm-up arena.
