The 8-year olds Daily Times and Dot Com became the best selling horses in the second Christmas Auction which Gestut Tannenhof has hosted. The online bidding concluded on 19 December 2021.
The collection included a mixed bag of 19 lots, ranging from 2.5 year old untrained youngsters to licensed breeding stallions and Grand Prix level trained competition horses.
Two Times 120,500 Euro
The auction top price was 120,500 euro which was paid for two horses: the 8-year old gelding Daily Times (by Daily Deal x Brandenburger), who has been trained and competed at national S-level, and the 8-year old Dutch bred Dot Com (by Download x Sir Sinclair). Both will stay in Germany/
The 7-year old home bred licensed stallion Crimetime GT (by Chambretto x Placido Sun) had a highest bid of 120,000 euro and will stay in Germany too.
Knockdown Stallions
Crimetime's sire, 12-year old licensed stallion Chambretto (by Concetto x Chambertin), was also offered for sale but did not get a price higher than 20,000 euro.
The 13-year old internationally competed Grand Prix horse Download (by Desperados x Wesley), who was a licensed stallion last year but now offered for sale as a gelding, had 40,000 euro as highest bid from a German. The black was campaigned by Spanish U25 rider Ruben Mengual Reig,
German Interest
The 5-year old Farielle (by Fahrenheit x Carabas) sold for 43,500 euro. The rest of the collection sold for lower prices.
Just one horse from the collection sold abroad, the 5-year old Floricella GT (by Floricello x Don Schufro). She moves to Belgium for 7,000 euro.
