French Grand Prix Squads for 2022 Announced

The French Equestrian Federation has announced the new Grand Prix dressage squads at the start of the 2022 following the publication of the new sportive criteria leading up to the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

Jean Morel has been appointed new French senior team selector and captain, assisting Technical Dressage Director Emmanuelle Schramm.

The Grand Prix squads are divided into two groups: the A-squad riders need to have squared at least 70% two times at a CDI 3* or more in the past 12 months, of which one score needs to have been achieved abroad. B-squad riders need to have achieved 70% at least twice, either at a national show or CDI in the past year.

A-squad - Group 1

  • Morgan Barbancon - Sir Donnerhall II 
  • Isabelle Pinto - Hot Chocolat van de Kwaplas 

B-squad - Group 2

  • Alexandre Ayache - Holmevangs Jolene
  • Pauline Basquin - Sertorius de Rima
  • Charlotte Chalvignac Vesin - Icaro das Figueiras
  • Maxime Collard - Cupido PB
  • Corentin Pottier - Gotilas
  • Jean Philippe Siat - Lovesong
