German Georgina Kraft is making her last year on ponies count. Although she rarely crosses the German border to compete, the past three years she chose Belgium as her place to go to for CDI shows. Aboard Daily Challenge she made her international debut in Grote-Brogel (BEL) in 2020, last year she sealed a double victory last year in Sint-Truiden, and this year she made it a triple at the same venue.
The 16-year old Kraft and her 9-year old Brandenburger bred pony stallion TI Daily Challenge (by Dressman x Kaiserwalzer) dominated the pony division at the 2022 CDI Sint-Truiden, which took place at Stable Gravenhof during Easter weekend. They won the team test with 73.143%and Sunday's Kur to Music with 75.890%. Aboard her second ride, the 9-year old TI Drei D (by Dreidimensional x Don Girovanni), she topped the individual test with 74.297% and was second with Daily Challenge on 73.838%.
Kraft's biggest rival in Sint-Truiden was Danish pony team rider Cornelia Munch Sinding, who also brought two to ride Terbofens Charico (by Charivari x Contendro) and seasoned 15-year old AJ Don't You Forget About Me (by Don't Worry x Golden Highlight). Sinding and Charico were second in the team test with 72.372%, but with AJ Don't You Forget About Me, she landed third place with 73.460% in the individual test and third in the kur with 75.035%.
Danish team mate Andrea Hemann Sand and the 8-year old Westfalian bred Golden Spring GH (by Golden State x Gentleman) improved over the weekend, beginning her show with a fifth place in the team test on 70.372% and fifth in the individual with 71.054%, to finish second in the freestyle with 75.835%.
