Vuelve and First Vienna Win 2022 Nienberge Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Galleria's Vuelve and the 6-year old First Vienna became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional horse show in Nienberge, Germany, on Friday 20 May 2022.

5-YO: Vuelve

No less than 21 combinations gathered for the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds.

It was a roller coaster show for German team rider Helen Langenhanenberg who won the class with Galleria’s Vuelve and got eliminated with Galleria's Summerville.  Owned by Dong Seon Kim's company Galleria’s Sport Horses, the Oldenburg mare (by Vitalis x Sandro Hit) topped the board with an 8.4 score. Judges Stefan Plesker, Harry Lorenz, and Carola Straube-Thiel rewarded the bay mare 7.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. 

Claudia Rüscher and Muriel Blackstone-Rosie's Oldenburg stallion Matisse GG (by Morricone x Don Olymbrio L) were the runners-up with 8.3 points. The black stallion got 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression

6-YO: First Vienna

Thirteen pairs competed in the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds, which was won by the reigning European junior rider's champion Lucie-Anouk Baumgurtel aboard the Hanoverin mare First Vienna (by Vitalis x First Dance). Bred by Beekenhof, the bay mare scored a winning 8.6 points with 8.5 for walk, trot, canter, and submizzion and 9 for general impression. The class was judged by Harry Lorenz, Stefan Plesker and Carola Straube-Thiel. 

Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Rhenania's Rhinelander gelding Vision (by Vitalis x Werther) tied in second place on 8.3 points, together with Helen Langehanenberg on Margit Eisner's Trakehner stallion Kwahu (by Millennium x Munchhausen). Vision got 8.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression, while Kwahu received 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
